In 2021, Song Joong Ki made everyone love him even more after his breathtaking and bossy performance in Vincenzo. Vincenzo was amazing, there is absolutely no doubt about that. The plotline, cinematography, stardust cast, and everything in the drama was so sizzling that it became a global hit. Netflix even praised the series. However, don’t you think the ending of the drama was not fulfilling? What we mean is the ending left a burning desire to know more about Vincenzo Cassano right? Well, guess what, we have some amazing news for all of you! Vincenzo is coming back with a second season in 2025 and the drama’s work has already started! 

Director Kim Hee Won, and writer Park Jae Bum, alongside tVn dropped the fantastic news recently that Vincenzo season two is on the way with an exciting plotline and amazing cast members which will be jaw-dropping to watch! But before diving into the sweet news let’s brush off our memories regarding season 1 of Vincenzo and how it ended and why there is a strong desire for season 2! 

Vincenzo's story centers around Park Joo Hyung adopted and raised in Italy even though born in Korea, after his adoptive father passed away he was known as Vincenzo Cassano. On a mission to find some hidden underneath gold in his birthplace Seoul, South Korea. There with a twist of turns of events, Vincenzo crosses paths with lawyer Hong Cha Young. Now she is the type of attorney who would do anything– literally anything to win a case. Now Vincenzo faces numerous challenges as he proceeds to hunt for the gold. There were moments of hilarity and life-threatening situations. But everyone can for sure agree that Vincenzo and attorney Hong Cha Young’s romance was top-notch. Now the ending of the series left fans with mixed emotions, surely it was good no denying it, but the possibilities of what-ifs are always never-ending when it comes to one's favorite series. 

And this is where we come in with the huge announcement that Vincenzo season 2 will be packed with amazing plotlines that will diminish that craving! According to the director and writer, in the second season of Vincenzo, we will see their romantic plotline, how he gets married, and finally settles down with kids but there will be moments of uncertainty, and how newfound challenges will be there, which will test their love for one another. Vincenzo will venture into more lethal missions, where the line between family and work will make him question things! 

But humour will also be present otherwise too much serious vibes may ruin the mood of the drama and writers wouldn’t risk that! 

There will be stories of side characters like Jang Jun Woo who was played by Ok Taecyeon from 2 PM. His story will be explored more in season 2. Additionally, it has been reported that there will be a new villain in the story which will be a surprise for now! For now, it is speculated that actor Kwak Dong Yeon will take the villainous role. Other fresh new faces will be seen in the second season, including Lee Jong Suk,  Park Seo Joon, and Gong Yoo will make a special cameo. So you can imagine that the second season will not be short of quality actors, the production company will be focusing more on quality over quantity.

Venice, Rome, and other historical places in South Korea, the shooting will be held and it will be breathtaking because director, Kim Hee Won, never compromises with quality. She even did other remarkable projects like Queen Of Tears, Little Women, and others. So you can pretty much get the idea that the second season of Vincenzo will be a blast! 

Industry insiders revealed that more new actresses are being listed, get ready because it has been speculated that Chae So Bin might take the female lead role. The entire second season will be packed with intensity with amazing performance! 2 PM members, Nickhun and Chansung will once again make an iconic performance that will enrich the drama’s overall performance once again!
