The story was captivating to the point that even after the perfect happy ending fans felt extremely empty, as the on-screen chemistry between, Kim Ji-Won and Kim Soo Hyun was so perfect that they couldn’t help but crave more! “Queen Of Tears” depicts the story of Hong Hae-In played by Kim Ji-Won and Baek-Hyun-Woo portrayed by Kim Soo Hyun. A married couple facing difficulties in their bumpy journey of love, both having major family differences yet trying to stick together but there is a huge communication gap between them making them misunderstand one another. Season 2, of “Queen Of Tears” will be based on an entirely different plotline and there may be a few sequels, like how their daughter Hong Sobin grew up and later gets to learn more about her parents' inseparable, fated love, and Yoon Eung-Seong’s obsession for Hong Hae-In. The storyline of Secretary Na may have more attention. She will be like a godmother to Hong Sobin. Also Da-Hye and Soo-Cheol’s bond will be further explored along with their son Geon Yoo who will play a significant role in Hong Sobin’s life . The female lead in season 2, will be most likely starred by actress Seo Ye Ji, as per reports and speculations. Since her last drama, “Eve” she recently signed a new contract with SUBLIME and chances are high she will be the lead, as she is well tailored for headstrong roles. It will mark her comeback as well which Sublime won't miss. Directors Jang Young-Woo, and Kim-Hee-Min and writer, Park Ji-Eun, confirmed the 2nd Season will be more based on, revenge-plot with twisted love stories that will keep you glued to the screen.

It will also cover themes of betrayal, intense love, and bittersweet moments that will churn your stomach. According to sources, the drama is set to be filmed by the end of 2024 and most likely to be aired by March 2025! Season 2, of “Queen Of Tears”, will explore stories of family politics, friendships, and twisted romantic feelings taking us once again on a thrilling journey with its enthralling storyline! Gong Yoo will make a special guest appearance in the drama.
