Goo Won and Cheon Sa-rang, lovers last year the lovely pair stole our hearts with their beautiful swooning captivating performance in, “King The Land”, however Girls Generation YoonA and 2 PM’s Lee Junho have been shipped for the longest time due to their undeniable chemistry and camaraderie. Their journey has been beautiful to the point that, starting from multiple variety shows to drama producers couldn’t help but give the couple to perform together frequently as they’re one of the most adored pairs in the world of Korean Industry. 

YoonA and Junho started their journey as young Kpop trainees way back in 2007, experiencing all the pain and agony of life at an early age, they supported each other and Junho always was one call for our precious YoonA. They have witnessed all phases of each other and those shortcomings didn’t even deter their path, rather their friendship strengthened but little did our Junho know he was slowly falling for YoonA, as their encounters became frequent in various variety shows, namely, “Family Outing S2”, “Heart Strings” and, “Idol Special”. Gradually this infatuation with her turned into a massive crush that was full-blown exposed, by his fellow 2 PM member, Taecyeon, in the variety show, “Captain Korea”, Junho was burning in the flames of jealousy when YoonA and Taecyeon performed together, well that jealousy was pretty adorable, as fate weaved a path for them, and in 2021 and 2022, Junho finally did the fiery performances, on the songs, “Senorita” and, “Love Never Felt So Good”, at the MBC Gayeo Daejejeon.

In 2012, during, Entertainment Relay‘s “Guerrilla Date” segment, when YoonA was asked about her wedding plans, at that time she said she wanted to settle down by the age of 32, and now she is 34, it doesn’t take a thing or two to guess that, YoonA does plan to have a future with Junho for a long time, as they have been close best friends for 18 long years, and in 2023, they exactly proved the point by appearing in the rom-com drama, “King The Land”, showcasing their passionate romance and the palpable chemistry between them was undeniable to the point that the cast members and everyone wondered are they just friends or more than that. BTS of the drama, even after the intimate moments ended, YoonA clung to Junho and kept on holding his hand. The kissing scenes were seamless and while doing it they were completely lost in the moment, just savouring each other. They even won the 2023 APAN Star Awards, receiving, the “Best Couple Award” due to their sizzling chemistry. They were even the main couple in the Korean Magazine, “Allure”. Millions of copies sold out quickly!

Furthermore, during interviews with Netflix, “Compliment Me”, segment part, they showered each other with such heart-fluttering comments that they both were extremely shy and giggling to their heart's content like childhood sweethearts. Junho revealed the only reason he agreed to take the lead role in the drama because YoonA was the female lead and the character Cheon Sa-rang, completely resonates with her, as YoonA always has a charming smile and positive energy in general. They surely know their ins and outs. Now YoonA and Junho are playing the hide and seek game, just like Hyun Bin and Son Ye Ji from Crash Landing On You, did during the Nerflix, Complement Me”, segment, they were in a relationship but kept it hidden, YoonA and Junho are doing the same too! Making everyone squirm with excitement! 

YoonA and Junho are of the same age and they are actively aware it is high time to settle down as they’ve reached most of the pinnacle of fame. They are taking things slow, their families have already set the engagement date and they are occupied with the wedding arrangements. At the beginning of this year, their love for one another outshined, when YoonA, surprised everyone when she was spotted attending, Junho’s solo concert, “The Day We Meet Again”, it was extremely sweet because she was overseas for a fan meeting and as soon as she landed to Korea, YoonA immediately went to show her love and support for Junho, which showcased another shade of their love. 

Yes, one might say, they have denied the fact they’re dating but it’s to keep their love life protected from the limelight of the media, most Korean couples deny initially because of how the fans may react or to keep the damage at a minimal level. YoonA and Junho are doing the same, wanting to relish their love in private and when they are prepared to finally express their love, we are going to hear the wedding bells soon and see them walking down the wedding aisle which we have been eagerly waiting for by the end of 2024! 

Hints have been circulating that the wedding theme song, will be one of the hit OSTs from, the drama, “King The Land”, like, “Keep Me Busy” by Punch and, “Confess To You” by Lim Kim,  which will make them walk in the memories of the beautiful romance they once shared in the set. The congratulatory song will be done by EXO, they will sing the emotional song, “For Life”, which will truly showcase all the tough times, YoonA and Junho overcame and reflect on their sweet love. After 18 years of being best friends and lovers, they will finally settle down. It does not end here though, to make things more exciting Junho will pamper YoonA, and her wedding dress will be designed by Mira Zwillinger who also designed actress Son Ye Ji’s wedding dress. It’ll be a sight to see. 

We will also get to see several prominent figures from YG Entertainment and SM Entertainment. EXO, Taemin, all members of Girls Generation, 2 PM, and SUPER JUNIOR will definitely be present at the wedding. Song Joong Ki, would not miss the chance to attend the wedding either. It will be a heartfelt wedding ceremony. South Korea’s famous photographers will be hired to keep their memories cherished, after all, it is going to be a big step in their lives, spending eternity with someone till death sets them apart. 

At present they have done several projects, Junho will appear in the upcoming Netflix series, “Cashero”, and YoonA is preparing for “Planners Capital”.
