Starring alongside, Cheng Xiao. The drama was a global hit to the point that fans and netizens loved every moment of it. Since then everyone has been dying to see the pair work together again as it was their first time working, the chemistry was so good that the longing for another season was growing stronger, making everyone feel restless. Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao are back again with Falling Into Your Smile Season 2!

Director Qiu Zhongwei and writer Qing Mei have been planning a big surprise for the fans of Falling Into Your Smile and successfully they have managed to sort out everything after 3 years of careful planning which is Season 2 is literally on the way and shooting of Falling Into Your Smile has already begun, according to sources the drama is to premier by June 2025! Falling Into Your Smile was adapted from the web novel You Are Beautiful When You Smile. The drama centers around the young woman Tong Yao, played by Cheng Xiao, who joins the e-sport team "ZGDX" after graduating from college due to her outstanding performance in E-Sports. She became the first official female esports player in the Chinese division of the professional league. As the story further proceeds we see Tong Yao starts to fall in love with Lu Si Cheng. Though there were moments filled with uncertainty and tension.

The romantic encounter between them was a heartwarming sight to see, especially the kissing scenes and the random moments filled with sweet pecks. The ending of the drama left the fans in a longing state wanting to see more of Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao’s chemistry. The playful bantering and the hilarious moments in the drama still replay in our mind as if the drama was released yesterday right? Well since then, fans and netizens were eagerly wondering what would have happened if Falling Into Your Smile continued with a second season. 

So the longing is finally becoming a reality because, in Season 2, the plotline of the drama will have some aspects from Season 1 but new challenges will be there. There will be family politics, friendship rivalry, and a sizzling love triangle will be there which will keep everyone hooked to the screen! Now many fans had mixed feelings regarding Season 1, the majority disliked Cheng Xiao’s acting stating that it was hard to focus on the drama as she lacked facial expression or her skills weren’t up to the bar. While others defended her stating that her acting has been seamless like always. The chemistry between Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao was loved immensely. Because honestly Xu Kai has mostly paired up with Bai Lu and other notable actresses, so working alongside Cheng Xiao was, refreshing to see. This brought diversity and new charm to the overall performance.

Now interestingly, the kissing scenes in the drama brought many speculations too, that Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao might be a couple. Sounds interesting right? Because the kissing scenes were so tender and beautiful. In fact, in an interview, Cheng Xiao was asked how she felt while doing those intimate moments.

She confessed it was her first time doing a drama filled with so many kissing moments, however, at one point it felt natural between them. But her heart did skip a beat a few times because honestly, Xu Kai is a passionate kisser anyway!
